RK Cotweaving is an official AWARE™ traceability partner — integrating the AWARE physical marker system into our certified fabric supply chain to provide buyers with blockchain-verified, tamper-proof proof of material origin and sustainability claims.
What is AWARE™?
AWARE is a physical traceability system that embeds invisible molecular markers directly into yarn during the spinning process. These markers are then verifiable at any point in the supply chain using a handheld scanner — providing indisputable proof that the fibre:
- Is genuinely certified (organic, recycled, etc.)
- Has not been substituted or diluted with non-certified material
- Matches the documentation provided by the manufacturer
Why This Matters for Buyers
Greenwashing is a growing concern in sustainable textile sourcing. AWARE eliminates the risk — instead of relying solely on paper certificates, buyers can physically scan finished products and verify material composition against the blockchain record.
